I've written more than once about the fact that I am not too fond about flying and it makes me act like a crazy person (which in general I am not but that you can decide for yourself).

What is actually a bummer is that because of the scary sometimes, like when you are flying around thunderstorms, you forget about the fact that in general flying is a super beautiful thing.

So when the sky is clear and the turbulence is low, I am glued to the window making shots over everything, because there is so much unique landscap to be found in Europe. Join me on the trip!

Lago di Como. The Italian lake where the rich and famous have their summer place and is non affordable for all of us mortal souls

Epecially flying over the Alps really has something special in there. With some snow here and there still there are so many points of interest to be seen when you would normally drive, and now seeing them from a different view.

A south Swiss Italian Alp, which almost looks like you can touch it and give the mountain a hug. Isn't it just a painting?


This is the way that flying is acceptable to me. With clear skies and just gazing away to see all the places I have been to already before.



The Rhine river where the highway and the river together are the borders of Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Ow how often did I go down this road to get from Switzerland to Austria passing this part. Fair enough, usually I was in a train passing over there, that is true.

You can tell right here that I had enough to do during this trip right? Comparing to my map and looking where everything is.

Frankfurt Airport, but this time from high in the sky. Where the train and the highway passes just next to the airport.

The cool thing thing coming over Frankfurt airport was that I could ever see actual planes land over there on two runways. Unique I would say, but not to be seen on this picture unfortunately.

Cologne or Koln with on the right side the airport, and with again the Rhine river and high dry the banks of it currently are


The general thing over Germany? The fields are yellow which means too dry and this is turning into an issue for sure.

The general thing about this trip from high in the sky? It was cool and really nice to see how the world looks from above. If only it was always like this...
