Everyday Objects | 1 | Footwear
There we go, I’ve been sucked in the loop hole of looking different at stuff we use every day. See something different on what is considered more than normal. And yes @hettyrowan and the real initiator @rubencress are the ones that pointed me in this direction with this post.
Foot wear.
Yeah stuff that you put on your feet. Stuff that is often more functional, but on the other hand is the perfect moment to make something different out of there. See I work in surgery, and that means we all have the same ol’ outfit every day. We are all blue, we all have our hair covered, we all look the same, but still we are all very different.
One of the things that has really started living over the last couple of years is the crazy sock culture. Because socks are one of the things that you can be different in, and you can choose your own, and what better way to put out some appreciation for your dog than wearing dog socks. not that anyone will always see, but that doesn’t matter. The socks are different and I find them hilarious! These ones you can only see the print on when the shoes are off, and I have never had these many neon socks with stupid figures sewn into them because that is the one part of your outfit that you are able to show off.
Sneak up dude!
The other snap there is one from sneakers as I really love wearing sneakers almost to the inappropriate kind of way Yes, in this time of the year it is storming so it is not really the weather to head outside with sneakers without socks, but as soon as the moment almost comes setting in, I am the first one to get back in sneaker status. The challenge? Getting them integrated into a work outfit (office,....not in surgery hahaha) so that people will accept you are on casual sneakers, without looking like someone who has paid attention to it.
Well, a new challenge for me! And surely, this will not be a daily thing, because there is so much other stuff that can pop by. But looking around you and seeing stuff that is normal, but just not so ordinary, yes..that will be snapped. Thanks guys!

Sneakers, or trainers as we call them in UK are becoming more acceptable as part of formal outfits nowadays as they're so stylish.
Glad you're doing the Not so Ordinary challenge, I started last month and failed miserably, only managed three 🙃
Love the fact there as well that sneakers/trainers (football/soccer haha) are getting accepted as well! Since I am a bit more in the office I am more aware of office rituals and what is okay and what not. (Got whole wardrobe) but am trying the blend in the casual more ;)))
Yeah this challenge will not be a daily thing at all but every now and then one.. yeah why not!
