Hello dear Gems community! I'm sharing my Rumi cosplay, one of the most famous warriors in K-pop.

This character is very beloved and famous for the message she conveys to today's youth.
At first, the fervor surrounding Asian music, thanks to the Korean supergroup BTS, seemed like a great musical alternative, a rhythm so different from what we were used to. Now, these girls captivate us with their great vocal talent, and their somewhat anime-like appearances are lovely; personally, I really like K-pop. That's why I cosplayed Rumi. Since the original is very expensive, I always make my cosplays with clothes I already own, so I made Rumi's cosplay as follows:

I had a short mustard-colored jacket and added some black cardstock embellishments; I also had a white blouse and black sequined shorts.

For her hair, I used a purple jacket and styled it into a braid with some extensions. I used black tights to simulate her shoes.

I made her sword out of cardboard and construction paper.

I love doing cosplays, especially when I put them together myself with materials I find around the house and my own clothes.

Este personaje es muy querido y famoso por el mensaje que lleva a la juventud de estos tiempos
Al principio, el furor que transmite la musica asiatica gracias a la super banda koreana BTS nos a parecido una gran alternativa musical este tipo de ritmo tan diferente al que estabamos acostumbrados a escuchar. Es así como ahora estas chicas nos cautivan por tener gran talento vocal y sus apariencias algo parecidas a los animes nos encantan; en lo personal, me gusta mucho en k-pop. Es por eso que hice el cosplay de Rumi. Como el original es muy costoso, yo siempre hago mis cosplays con atuendos que poseo, así que el de Rumi lo hice de la siguiente manera.

Tenía una chaqueta corta de color mostaza y le hice algunas aplicaciones con cartulina de color negro; también tenía una blusa de color blanco y un short con lentejuelas de color negro.

Para su cabello, utilicé una chaqueta de color púrpura y le di forma como de una trenza junto con unas extensiones. Con unas medias color negro, simule sus zapatillas.

Con cartón y papel bond hice su espada.

Amo hacer cosplays, y aún más si los armo yo misma con materiales que consigo en mi casa y atuendos personales.

Since I didn't have a red belt, I used tissue paper and covered one of my belts, and for the yellow jacket I used black cardstock to add the appliqués that the original has.

Como no tenía una correa de color rojo, utilicé papel seda y forré uno de mis cinturones, y para la chaqueta amarilla utilicé cartulina color negro para ponerle las aplicaciones que lleva la original.

To be a good cosplayer, you just have to have fun.

Para ser un buen cosplay, solo tienes que divertirte.
