Hello Ecency Community!

My name is Karina. I am from Bulgaria. I am a psychologist by occupation and I run a private practice in my hometown of Plovdiv. It's a beautiful town, which makes its citizens proud. I will surely put some pictures of it at some point, because if you have never visited it, you should immediately correct that mistake!

Travelling and writing are my hobbies. I used to run a travel blog some years ago, but I didn't have the chance to reach the professional level I wanted, so I dropped it. I joined some online media instead where I wrote about traveling and, of course, psyhology. As I slowly turned my hobby into a second job, I also joined the Bulgarian Association for Journalists and Travel Writers, where I am a member up to this day. I tremendously enjoy our group work in publishing books. If you follow me, you will have a glimpse on what we do.

Photography has always been a passion of mine. I don't have the professional skill, but I am trying. It is my way of healing, reconnecting to myself, and creating memories. Sometimes I succeed in nailing a shot - I hope these occassions will grow in frequency in the near future.

I am not a big fan of social networks in general - I prefer the physical experience of life. I use social networks to find inspiration for more of that experience and, hopefully, inspire others to go out and look for it, too. I just find it too tiring to follow the high-speed technical developments, neither do I have enough time to learn algorithms or be consistent enough.

A colleague of mine told me about Ecency and he described it as an easier version of a blog, so I am looking forward to being a part of this, to meeting everyone in the community and maybe to finding new friends with shared interests.

greetings Karina, great ecency community. I have read your story I am very interested in writing and travel. I have also pioneered in this community since five years ago starting from the steemit community, to this at ecency, it feels like today after reading your story you want to focus on writing and have a fun trip, I used to be in steemit there was also writing but the rankings also faltered , I think with focus and perseverance will succeed.
