🇺🇲 ~ About a year ago, this little kitten came into our lives. At that time, I wanted a white cat, and coincidentally, a relative saw one near where we live. We went to the place, which was a vacant lot with lots of grass and trash. We found him hiding in the bushes. He smelled strongly of human urine and had lots of fleas. That night, on October 12 last year, we took him home, bathed him, and fed him, as he was very malnourished—you could see his bones.

🇪🇦 ~ Hace aproximadamente un año, este pequeño gatito entró en nuestras vidas. En aquel momento, yo quería un gato blanco y, casualmente, un familiar vio uno cerca de donde vivimos. Fuimos al lugar, que era un terreno baldío con mucha hierba y basura. Lo encontramos escondido entre los arbustos. Olía fuertemente a orina humana y tenía muchas pulgas. Esa noche, el 12 de octubre del año pasado, lo llevamos a casa, lo bañamos y le dimos de comer, ya que estaba muy desnutrido, se le veían sus huesitos.

As the days went by, he adapted very quickly. We introduced him to his siblings, a loving little dog named Sultan and a black kitten named Pantera. It took his feline brother a while to accept him, but eventually he ended up giving him his love.
I decided to name him Poseidon, but because he was so small, we ended up calling him Flea, and that name stuck.

Con el paso de los días, se adaptó muy rápidamente. Le presentamos a sus hermanos, un perrito cariñoso llamado Sultan y un gatito negro llamado Pantera. A su hermano felino le costó un poco aceptarlo, pero al final acabó dándole todo su cariño.
Decidí llamarlo Poseidón, pero como era tan pequeño, acabamos llamándolo Pulga, y con ese nombre se quedó.

Since then, he has been living in our home, making us laugh with his crazy antics and filling us with love. He is a very affectionate kitten who makes himself loved, even our visitors adore him, hehe.

Desde entonces, vive en nuestra casa, haciéndonos reír con sus locuras y llenándonos de amor. Es un gatito muy amoroso que se hace querer, incluso nuestros visitantes lo adoran, jeje.

🇺🇲 ~ At first, he imitated everything his feline brother did, but over time, the only thing he couldn't imitate was staying at home, since his brother doesn't like to go out. He, on the other hand, loves to explore his surroundings, and since we live in an area with lots of vegetation, it's a whole universe for him to discover.

🇪🇦 ~ Al principio, imitaba todo lo que hacía su hermano felino, pero con el tiempo, lo único que no pudo imitar fue quedarse en casa, ya que a su hermano no le gusta salir. A él, en cambio, le encanta explorar su entorno, y como vivimos en una zona con mucha vegetación, es todo un universo por descubrir para él.

🇺🇲 ~ He has befriended a spayed adult female cat who is part of the community and goes out to explore the neighborhood with her. Although he has had altercations with other cats, he continues to go out exploring; it is part of his nature, and we always keep an eye on where he is, as he does not stray too far.

🇪🇦 ~ Se ha hecho amigo de una gata adulta esterilizada que forma parte de la comunidad y sale a explorar el vecindario con ella. Aunque ha tenido altercados con otros gatos, sigue saliendo a explorar; es parte de su naturaleza, y siempre estamos atentos a dónde está, ya que no se aleja demasiado.

🇺🇲 ~ By deciding to bring him home, we were able to save him from the streets and give him a better quality of life, and that makes me very happy. 🤗
