Hello Hivers passionate about black and white photography from this beautiful and active community. Today I wanted not to overlook the flowering of one of my cacti and leave this ephemeral flower immortalized in photographs. In this species the flowers do not usually last more than 12 hours, making it necessary to monitor the plant to see it bloom. Furthermore, it only blooms during one time of the year and therefore there is little time to admire the beauty. The flowers on this plant naturally have a beautiful reddish-orange coloration. Even so, I wanted to use black and white to highlight details of the flowers such as the stamens that we can not only appreciate regularly. Nature offers us wonders in every corner of the planet, we just need to observe carefully.

Hola Hivers apasionados por la fotografía en blanco y negro de esta hermosa y activa comunidad. Hoy quise no pasar por alto la floración de uno de mis cactus y dejar inmortalizada en fotografías a esta efímera flor. En esta especie las flores no suelen durar abiertas más de 12 horas siendo necesario vigilar a la planta para lograr verla florecer. Además, solo florece durante una época del año y por tanto es poco tiempo para admirar la belleza. Las flores en esta planta tienen de forma natural una coloración rojiza anaranjada hermosa. Aun así, quise utilizar el blanco y negro para destacar detalles de las flores como los estambres que no solemos apreciar con regularidad. La Naturaleza nos ofrece maravillas en cada rincón del planeta, solo necesitamos observar con detenimiento.
