[en] Abundant presence of mushrooms in forests of Offenbach, Germany

Hello Hivers, I am not one to publish much content in this community, but I want to take the opportunity to show some mushroom captures on a tour in the forest. Despite being a botanist, I recognize the biological importance and beauty of fungi in nature. These organisms are currently quite undervalued despite playing a fundamental role in the balance of most of the world's ecosystems. They actively participate in the decomposition of organic matter, maintaining the proper health of the soil.

During a tour in the forests of Offenbach in Germany, I was able to observe a high presence of fungi that, for the most part, are found on trunks of both live and fallen trees. They are quite large in this area and their presence is very numerous. I took a few photographs of the most common species in the area and wanted to share them with you. I took the photographs with my Canon Eos Rebel T5 camera and a Canon 50 mm f: 1.8 lens.

If anyone recognizes what species they are, I would like you to share that information with me in the comments. I hope you liked the photos. Have a nice day.
