Grotto Pond

Here are a few pics from a pretty little pond, located in Kananaskis County, Alberta, Canada.

covered in snow not soon after these were taken.

The pond is stocked with rainbow trout, about 2,000 of them every year which makes it a popular spot for fishing.

The trailhead for Grotto Mountain is in the same parking lot, making it a busy area during the Summer months.

I've heard about a lot of cool spots in Canada but Grotto Pond is not something familiar to me. I love the solitude of the place and how calm the whole landscape looks like. Thanks for sharing! :)
