more hikers then bikers.

The town was once a coal mining town, but as the mines closed tourism has taken over as the primary industry.

Some of the relics remain and.....

an interesting find this day was a wooden pipe. Made of cedar and then wrapped in a steel wire. It must have...

Thank you, it surprised me also.. but the pipe was similar to barrels made for wine. Same type of craftsmanship.

Beautiful! Maybe I’ll have to give it a go next week when I’m in the area.

Yes, Spring Creek, the East side of Highline, is really nice, there is an old dam there as well.

Hey! Thanks for asking, We lost power for a week. Trees uprooted but thankfully nothing hit the house. Doors blow off the shed,

Lots of stories about sheds upset and I know a friend had a barn destroyed, Charlottetown( about 4o min drive from me) had a lot of destruction. It will be awhile before things are back to normal,
