I live on the Isla de Margarita, a place where there are not only paradisiacal beaches with a wonderful Caribbean climate, but also mountains with a cool and delicious climate. When you take the road towards the mountains, you will also find large and small farms, fields or as we know it in Venezuela, conucos. It is also extremely common to see all kinds of cattle grazing the land adjacent to the main roads. In addition to cows, calves or goats, we frequently see horses with their young, as you can see in the photos they share on this occasion.

A beautiful mare grazing with her little foal, with the perfect shiny terracotta coat. I loved the white patch on his face that his son inherited. As soon as I got close to both of them, they turned in unison to stare at me for a few seconds, then continued on with their business. Horses are definitely one of my favorite animals on earth.
