Family, Fun and a Walk Through Heritage

Hello Hive family :)

I know, I know
it’s been ages since I last posted here. Life took a very busy turn after I started my MBA program.
But now, I have promised myself that no matter what, I’ll make time and start posting regularly again. Because honestly, sharing little stories here feels like talking to an old friend.

And what better way to start than by sharing a beautiful experience I had recently.

It all started with my sister’s engagement.
Full-on dance, and laughter , the typical big fat Indian family gathering where you meet cousins you haven’t seen since like forever.

After the official ceremonies, a few of us cousins decided, let’s make the most of this reunion. And that’s how we found ourselves heading towards Heritage Park the very next morning.

Now, Heritage Park isn’t new to me. I had actually visited it once during my school days. But at that time, construction had just started.

But visiting now was an entirely different story. I was absolutely amazed by how beautifully the park had been developed. I was honestly in awe.

A little about Heritage Park for those who may not know.
It is a massive cultural and spiritual park developed by Bharat Nirman, covering more than 40 acres of land. It has been designed to reflect India’s rich heritage, showcasing traditional temple architecture and sculpture work from across the country.

As you walk inside, you will find grand statues and detailed sculptures of almost all major Hindu gods and goddesses , Lord Vishnu, Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Ganesha, Goddess Durga, Lord Hanuman, and many others. It feels like walking through a living encyclopedia of Indian mythology

Unfortunately, I could not click any pictures of the statues inside because photography is not allowed in the inner areas of the park. Honestly though, some experiences are best enjoyed in the moment rather than through a camera lens.

Every part of the park has been beautifully planned. You will find life-size scenes from the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and other sacred stories, all carved so finely in stone that you can spend hours just looking at them. The level of detail is truly amazing ,it actually feels like the characters might come alive any moment.

We spent hours exploring the place. There is a large, peaceful garden where we sat for a while, chatting and pulling each other’s legs like old times.

We ended our day with a hot cup of tea and some crispy pakoras at a little stall just outside the park. It was the perfect end to a wonderful outing.

Visiting Heritage Park after so many years felt truly special.
It was not just about seeing beautiful sculptures and grand architecture ,it was about reliving old memories, making new ones, and feeling a quiet sense of peace.
Sometimes, a simple outing with family reminds you how beautiful life really is, when you slow down and just enjoy the moment.

If you ever happen to be around Solan, do take out some time and visit Heritage Park.

Thank you for reading, lovely Hivers.
I am so happy to be back here sharing my little stories with all of you.

Looking forward to connecting more and bringing more such moments to this lovely space. See you soon.
