Landscape Photography Stories #7 - Blue Hour On Skrzyczne

Po nocy pełnej wrażeń o której pisałem tutaj opuściłem namiot, aby rozpocząć kolejny etap pleneru na Skrzycznem czyli fotografowanie w czasie niebieskiej godziny. Zmęczenie dawało mi się już we znaki po dwudziestu godzinach bez snu, które spędziłem bardzo aktywnie i naprawdę dużo się w tym czasie działo. Ale nie miałem zamiaru się tym przejmować. Cel był prosty, a takie pleneru nie zdarzają się mi często. Musiałem to wykorzystać.

Pod polem namiotowym przy Schronisku na Skrzycznem jest bardzo ciekawe miejsce widokowe, gdzie otwiera się piękna sceneria Żywiecczyzny. Nad całą tą scenerię czuwa i góruje królowa Beskidów Babia Góra, którą widać na prawie każdym z poniższych zdjęć.

Warunki dopisały tego poranka. Niebo było w miarę czyste, ale jakieś chmury po nim wędrowały co uważam oczywiście za atut. Przybrały one bardzo interesujące kolory będąc oświetlone przez słońce znajdujące się jeszcze pod horyzontem. Musiałem naprawdę mocno wytężyć wyobraźnię, żeby coś jeszcze z siebie wykrzesać przy tym zmęczeniu. Najtrudniej było mi znaleźć interesujący pierwszy plan. Z kolejnymi nie było problemu, widoki tutaj są na tyle ciekawe, że bronią się same.

W miejscu tym można zobaczyć sporo wydeptanych ścieżek zapewne przez osoby przychodzące tutaj na wschód słońca. Pole namiotowe na Skrzycznem daje ten komfort, że wystarczy wyjść z namiotu i przejść kilkanaście/kilkadziesiąt metrów, żeby cieszyć się tym pięknym zjawiskiem. Byłem jednym z pierwszych osób, które opuściły namioty. Rozstawionych ich było około 10 tej nocy.

Na zdjęciach możecie zobaczyć także Tatry. Nie rzucają się mocno w oczy, ale tam są. Na prawo od Babiej Góry, którą najlepiej widać na zdjęciu numer 2 w centrum kadru.

After a night of excitement, which I wrote about here, I left the tent to begin the next stage of my outdoor session in Skrzyczne: photographing during the blue hour. I was already feeling tired after twenty hours without sleep, which I'd spent very actively and with a lot going on. But I wasn't about to worry about it. The goal was simple, and outdoor sessions like this don't come around often. I had to take advantage of it.

Below the campsite at the Skrzyczne Mountain Shelter, there's a very interesting viewpoint, overlooking the beautiful scenery of the Żywiec region. Watching over this entire landscape is Babia Góra, the queen of the Beskids, which can be seen in almost every photo below.

The conditions were perfect this morning. The sky was relatively clear, but some clouds were drifting across it, which I consider a plus. They took on some very interesting colors, illuminated by the sun, which was still below the horizon. I had to really stretch my imagination to come up with anything more, despite my exhaustion. Finding an interesting foreground was the hardest part. The rest of the scenery was easy; the views here are so interesting they speak for themselves.

In this spot, you can see many well-trodden paths, probably from people coming here for sunrise. The campsite on Skrzyczne offers the comfort of simply leaving your tent and walking a few dozen meters to enjoy this beautiful sight. I was one of the first to leave my tents. There were about 10 of them set up that night.

You can also see the Tatra Mountains in the photos. They're not very noticeable, but they're there. To the right of Babia Góra, which is best seen in photo number 2 in the center of the frame.
