"Earth and Free Men" is talking about Ezequiel Zamora

With the phrase "Earth and Free Men" All of us who live in the Ezequiel Zamora municipality remember the Venezuelan hero from whom our municipality takes its name. On a day like today, February 1, he had his birth there in 1817. He was one of the main leaders of the federalist revolution in Venezuela, and sought to reform the country's political and social systems. He stood out for his leadership and his vision of a fairer and more equitable Venezuela, and he was one of the first to call for the unity of the Venezuelan states. He was assassinated in 1854, but his legacy of fighting for freedom and equality lives on to this day. Below I share some photos of what was the protocol act on the occasion of his birth, where the monument with a bust of Ezequiel Zamora stands out in the square that bears his name, recognition and delivery of credit to the peasants, a photo of the actor Greiber Barrios who interpreted today and reminded us of our hero, and of course a photo with the mayor of the municipality Ezequiel Zamora Óscar Cedeño.

Con la frase de " Tierra y Hombres Libres" Todos los que hacemos vida en el municipio Ezequiel Zamora recordamos al procer venezolano de quien nuestro municipio toma su nombre. Tal día como hoy 1 de febrero tuvo su natalicio por allá en el año 1817. Fue uno de los principales líderes de la revolución federalista en Venezuela, y buscaba la reforma de los sistemas políticos y sociales del país. Se destacó por su liderazgo y su visión de una Venezuela más justa y equitativa, y fue uno de los primeros en llamar a la unidad de los estados venezolanos. Fue asesinado en 1854, pero su legado de lucha por la libertad y la igualdad sigue vivo hasta el día de hoy. A continuación les comparto algunas fotos de lo que fue el acto protocolar con motivo de su natalicio, dónde destacan monumento con busto de Ezequiel Zamora en la plaza que lleva su nombre, reconocimiento y entrega de crédito a los campesinos, una foto al actor Greiber Barrios quien interpretó hoy y nos recordó a nuestro procer, y por supuesto una foto con el alcalde del municipio Ezequiel Zamora Óscar Cedeño.
