RE: ”LET’S FEED THE HIGHLAND BIRDS, SCOTLAND 🏴” ~ Market Friday

I love feeding the birds in my garden. I'm in the south of England. I get mainly blue tits, great tits, a Robin, blackbirds, collared doves and starlings. The only thing I don't like about feeding them is that the food can attract rats.

Me too, although I only live here only 1 months. I have to explore what visitors I get in the garden.
Before I lived in different countries with different wildlife. So it’s exciting.
Luckily I haven’t seen any rats yet, but I do saw a deer coming down the mountain and some red squirrels too.
Have an awesome weekend! 👋🏻😊
That's great. No deer likely to come into my garden as I'm in a town. The only squirrels we get are grey ones, all the red squirrels were wiped out years ago down here.
If you're in the country, you may even get a visit from a Pine Marten, that would be exciting.
Yes, living in a town you don’t encounter much wildlife.
It seems up here the red squirrel population is going well. So it’s nice to see them occasionally.
We are pretty remote here in the highlands. So I think anything is possible. I will look out for them.
Have a great week 👋🏻😊
