Velvet Fungi

Hi Hive Lovers

How are you, fungi lovers? I hope you all always enjoy Friday for the fungi that you often see here from all over the world.

I've also found stacks of stacked fungi and its my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw. A pile of these beautiful fungi grows on pieces of wood that are almost rotten and grow in clusters with a unique shape that is not like the shape of fungi, which generally have stems and umbrellas.

I accidentally found the piece of wood when I was about to enjoy my cup of coffee. On the piece of wood, it turned out that there were mushrooms that I didn't know the type of at all. If you know this type of mushroom, please provide information in the comments column.

These mushrooms have a soft surface, like the surface of velvet. It feels very soft if you touch it with your hand. I stroked the mushrooms several times and really enjoyed the softness of their surface.

Several clusters of mushrooms were starting to look wilted and almost dry. It looked like velvet that had just been washed in water and didn't look fresh anymore. It's a shame I was too late to find them there.

But I have found another mushroom on the cut part of the log; it looks still fresh, very beautiful, and also very soft, just like soft velvet.

Around one of the fresh mushrooms, you can also see several white dots from the young mushrooms that will grow. I'm sure they will become a group of mushrooms that are clustered and stacked together in the future.

Unfortunately, I don't have a DSLR camera to take macro photos to get super close-up photos of the mushrooms. I only use my #SamsungS22 cell phone camera; the macro mode photos are not as perfect as a DSLR camera. But you can still enjoy quality photos of the mushrooms that I shot.

I am sure that fungi or mushrooms, which are generally small in size, are very suitable photo objects as macro photo objects. Those who have a passion for photography with mushroom objects will definitely enjoy the process of photographing these mushrooms. It was a pleasure.
