Photo-essay Contest nr 08 #Orange-essay, My Entry

Without further ado here are my five orange photo in my phone gallery.

1. Japanese glorybower

Just this week the gcash of hubby was zero then we need load to continue our net activity. I went to our neighbor store who sell load. After loading I noticed this plant as one of their fence, it is a beauty, so, I snapped it. At first I do not know it's name. Speaking of flowers name I relied on Picture This App. I opened the app and post the picture of this flower, wallah! In an instant the app identify this flower as Japanese glorybower, a species of Glorybowers also known as Pagoda flower, Giant Salvia, Red Glorybower and Kaempfer's glorybower. The botanical name is Clerodendrum japonicum. It is a perenial shrub, flowering species native to Asia. It is a perfect plant in freeze-free gardens which blooms throughout summer into fall. It attracts hummingbirds and butterflies as a pollinator.

1. Our tiny orange house

Our tiny house was built during pandemic times on the year 2020 of November. The contractor showed me many paint colors to choose from his files. I approved lemon yellow for the wall but when they finished painting I wonder why it becomes orange. But, it was nice to look at so I approved the color, hence our tiny house was called Orange House by our neighbor.

1. Golden Hour

Our tiny house is facing the horizon hence we can clearly view the clouds changes ahead. This golden hour was on May 17.about past 5pm here in our place I called Albor Hills. The orangey color of the clouds was so amazing.

1. My WIP crocheted top

When I saw on the yarn sellers photo online I love this gradient polyester cotton, so, I ordered it. And, started crocheting for my top. But, due to my busyness and changeable mind until now it was almost a year this is a work-in-progress still, hehehe.

1. Mandaue-Mactan 1st Bridge

When we visited our daughter whose residing in Lapu-lapu City, we always passed this bridge linking Mandaue City and Lapu-lapu City. It was good they repaint it with orange striking color plus placed the sides with wire net because many come up here, jump the bridge to commit suicide, especially those who were crazy/fool.
