Hello everybody,

inbound7210400782418477475.jpg

I stopped all my wip's, work-in-progress, because of my demanding and annoying client which is hubby. I started crocheting his shoes last week, but because of trial and error I frogged twice, then, viewed many tutorial in YouTube how to crochet a shoes. But, to my dismay, I can't copy them. So, I decided to make my own design. Then, every day for how many times, hubby always say, "where is my shoes"? Ho my I was so stress hahaha I must make it. But, I understand hubby because for how many months we searched for his shoes to many stores but no one can fit his feet because his right foot is much bigger than his left foot. Then we ordered also special sandal for him ho my pricey at $70! then when his feet became swollen it doesn't fit. His sandals just for display.

So, I tried again this time I started with brown tiny cord and 2.5 crochet hook

Round(Rnd) 1 - I started with 8 chains (ch) plus two chains considered as 1 double crochet (dc), 2dc in 3rd ch from hook, then 1 dc in each 6 ch, 6 dc in last ch, 1 dc in each 6 ch, 3 dc in last ch to complete the oblong shape, join with slip stitch (sl st)into 1st ch 2. (24dc)

Rnd 2 - ch 2, 1 dc in same stitch (st), 1dc in in next dc, 2 dc in next, 1 dc in each 6 dc, 2 dc in each 6 dc, 1 dc in each 6 dc, 2dc in each 3 dc, join with sl st into first ch 2. (32 dc)

Rnd 3 - ch 2, 1 dc in each DC all 17 sts around, join with sl st in 1st ch 2. (32 dc)

Rnd 4 - same as Rnd 2. (32dc)

Rnd 5 - ch 2, 1 dc in same st, 2 dc in next st, 1 dc in each 18 st, 2 dc in each 3 st, 1dc in each 13st, 2 dc in each 2 dc. sl st to the 1st ch 2. (41dc)

Rnd 6 - ch2,1 dc in each st all around, join with sl st. (41 dc)

Rnd 7 - ch 2, 1 dc in same st, 2 dc in next st, 1 dc in each 18 dc, 2dc in each 2 dc, 1dc in each 18 dc, 2 dc in each 2 dc, join with sl st. (44 dc)

Rnd 8 - ch 2, 1 dc in each 43 dc, join with sl st to 1st ch 2. (44 dc)

Rnd 9 - ch 2, 1dc in same st, 1 dc in each 21 dc, 2 dc in each 2 dc, 1 dc in each 21 dc, 2 dc in each 2 dc, join with sl st. (50 dc)

On this Round I fit it on hubby's left foot, I was so happy it fitted. So, I relaxed, back to my house chores until night time. I relaxed after eating by picking my phone and viewed Pinterest. Oh, oh, my client very noisy again. "Where's my shoes?"

I picked up the unfinished shoes and continued crocheting.

Rnd 11 - ch 2, 1 dc in each 32 dc, turn your work. (32 dc)

Rnd 12 to Rnd 25 - same as Rnd 11.

Rnd 26 - ch 2, 1 dc in each 14 dc, stop here cut longer then connect to by just pulling the cord in each back loop.

Left shoe, done. Both me and hubby were happy because it fitted on his left foot.

Then, I relax again did my house chores like washing the clothes and cook our food. Ho my he remembered again his shoes. So, yesterday the whole morning and afternoon I crocheted the right foot. He really waited for it. Then, when I finished, looked at his face! Hahaha!

This is great not minding you passed through tutorials on youtube and later decided to put your own style of design. I love the way you ended up with his right leg size and both legs looks cool.

HAHAHA well that's life, there are some customers who are very demanding and demanding and until you fulfill their request they don't stop bothering you...

I'm glad this project turned out well for him, now you'll be able to continue with your WIPs in peace.

Cheers ❤️!
