Asean Hive Week #20 Challenge/Local Dessert - Low Carb Yema Creamy Cake

Hello everybody,

Today no travel for us, just relax at home. So, early in the morning at about 6am I cooked a Low Carb Yema Creamy Cake.

After an hour, it was done and I was happy for it was perfect, my 3rd time to make it, delicious and yumminess, the sweetness was just right not too sweet. But, I ate about 9am already because it was the start of my open window time on a fasting of 16 hours.

After it was done, I was very proud of my cooking, hehehe, because I rarely cook. I sent pictures to our family FB group chat so that my sons and daughters could view it. As expected they congrats me with this rare cooking of low carb dessert, even them they hav'nt tried it yet. Then, @jewelsofaura posted the link of Asean Hive Local Dessert Challenge. Ho Wow! Very timely I cooked for dessert. I now have a content.

When my orders of Coconut Flour, the main ingredients use in low carb cooking, from Shoppee,

I searched right away in YouTube on low carb diet. I found one from La Kusina Kusinera. I like her cooking because no need of oven. I just cook it here.

And, I doubled her recipe because I like many yield. With out further ado here is the recipe for this yummy Low Carb Yema Creamy Cake.

Mixed well, make a well at the center of the mixing bowl, place the 4 eggs at the center, mixed well. Add 250 all purpose cream in liquid form not chilled, mixed well, add the 1/4 tsp himalayan salt or pink salt. Mixed well. Add 2 tsp vanilla and 4 tsp water. Mixed well. Place in the baking pan and into the cooking pot or oven, cover and cooked for 20 minutes.

When I see the sides are brown, I prick it with toothpick. No more residue on the toothpick. It's done.

Place in a platter by inverting the baking pan.

Place the low carb condensed milk I prepared earlier. Here's how to make low carb condensed milk.

Heat the skillet with 2tbsp of butter, to melt, then add the 250ml all purpose cream chilled mixed add 1 tsp vanilla. Mixed until mixture is sticky. Done.

Looks very yummy, I have experimented with coconut flour in the USA before, but never seen it in Cambodia. Attempts to create my own at home have never worked, I just don't have the equipment to produce such a fine powder. Are these normally made with wheat flour or rice flour?
