Accumulated Work-In-Progress

Hello everybody,

Our Van have two sets of cloth cover for the seats gray and white. Since last year, I want to cover it with a crocheted granny squares, so, I convinced hubby to buy the materials, but he was skeptical because he is sure I can finish it long long time just like my old time wips that for how many years until now still a wip, hahaha, he realy knows my crochet behavior. Then, I convinced him again, thanks this time he gave in. We traveled again last June 17, went to Lots Of Yarn Store, which was very timely they have yarn sale.

The colors of the yarns on sale was so tempting but I chose only two colors, purple and gray. What I focus on buying was the 5ply cotton for the Van seaters and I send some to my youngest in Olongapo City, in other Island here in the Philippines.

On that day we arrived home very late and I was so tired but happy because I have stocks of yarns. The following day, after lunch I tried the yarns that was on sale. I crocheted the purple one and planned to make a bag out of it, a bag design that I want to have long long time ago. Just simple all single crochet then sew different shapes of buttons I bought at a Mall with a fabric knotted handle.

When night time came I realized I can't crochet dark color yarns, my head ached, so, I stopped it and plan to crochet the bag just during day time. The following day, my son told me that I should crochet something for the steering wheel. So, I measured the wheel:

I started crocheting for the steering wheel plus I want to try crocheting the 5 ply cotton using 2mm hook.

On the afternoon hubby wants to view a movie. He told me to stopped any of my household chores and joined him viewing the movie or we will relaxed and enjoyed the movie marathon. At first, I obeyed him but I was not comfortable doing nothing, so, I got the hook and 5ply cotton, started crocheting the granny square which was easy for my even if I do not focus my eyes to them but viewing the movie. Whoa, I was amused by my work because with the three movies Extraction, The Renegade and The Mother starring JLo, the granny square was already big with out knowing it.

During night time, because hubby and I practiced intermittent fasting we eat our dinner early, so, I can crochet light colored yarn, I still continued making hexa granny saquare for the long table runner, Just to kept my eyes tired.and I can sleep well.

At the moment, I have four work-in-progress. Hoping to finish any two of them this week.
