Shane and Ken Ties the Knot

Hey guys! It's been a while. I'd like to share a recent shoot I did for a friend. They just got married last June 12. A few months ago, around January, since the bride is a churchmate, she asked the pastor and us for our blessing. We were glad of their decision and for the blessing they asked and so we volunteered for a prenup session for them. The groom is a seafarer and so it was challenging to find a time for their prenup but there was a day sometime in the month of April when the groom had a chance to go on land.
Thankfully, the weather was very cooperative and the shoot was finally on! We started in a public beach at seven in the morning. Then we went to the mountains at 3 PM. It was fun and since its just a DIY, all of the bride's dress and etc were from her own closet. She asked someone to do her makeup and hair too.
The bride's maid of honor also was there during that time and helped her, assisted her with a lot of things and my little one was there too to cheer us.
Editing the set was easy as the couple just wanted us to do whatever we want as long as they look pleasing. Their only request was not to publish it until the wedding is done. The images were used for their wedding entrance and gallery.
The wedding was intimate, with only a few guests and my husband and I were assigned for the veil and chord.
The gears used here was the Sony A7iii paired with the 85mm lens. All natural lighting, and post processed with Adobe Lightroom. We also did a short video and will share that soon.
