Megatron was a Joker at Singapore's Universal Studios

Previously, I shared the first part of our Universal Studios tour. We checked out many sections of the tourist spot but we never had tried any ride yet. After having lunch at an Indian restaurant inside the USS, by the way, there are other restaurants around too, you can just roam around to find them, we were in Ancient Egypt when we heard scrambling in the distance and we found Megatron walking into the scene!

As fans of the Transformers, we headed right away, almost running to line up for the meet and greet! Matti was sleeping at that time and I thought the audio which was coming out was recorded but it turned out to be a live one, someone behind the microphone can literally see everyone here, perhaps the CCTV cameras behind explain that.

As it was our time to take a photo, Megatron said something savage, "what? did you bring me a sleeping child? What am I going to do with this tiny human?"

Everyone was laughing when they heard it and we did too! This Megatron looks really real, it moves as well! I was starstruck to see him!

The Ultimate 3D Battle is the ride in the Transformers section and there were so many people waiting for their turn here. According to some of my friends, this ride brings motion sickness as it gives you a feel of being a transformer fighting against forces of evil! I don't want to feel that and I might throw up and so we skipped that!

Moving forward, we took photos of some nice areas, most of them were kind of closed though, we felt like being lost in New York city while walking around but stopped once in a while to take shots, especially when there were many instances where only a few people were walking around so we can have a few seconds to take pictures without photobombers!

It didn't take long before we reached Sesame Street and they set up some Halloween vibe in this area. We explored it and even tried opening the doors, of course, we were just being silly!

The street looks cool from here and so we took more photos! Okay, so this tour was actually all about taking photos! No rides were done at all. Then we spotted Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase and which is for kids so we headed there immediately because, outside the building, it doesn't show any crowd! As we inquired, they require that the baby has to be awake so they can measure his height. But then, we heard some music and found the Sweet and Sour Squad who were giving out candies!

A7300639.jpg

We went to the side street and asked for candies too! The candies were all only for kids though and they gave a lot to Matti which I appreciated. They even mentioned they won't miss a kid! So sweet!

A7300657.jpg

They got a whole vehicle filled with characters and even a full blast of music as they go dancing as exit the scene! It was really a quick meet and greet!

We headed back to Sesame Street and because the music was loud earlier, Matti woke up and was able to get some candies. He was now holding one in the image below. I took a photo of the father and son on this school bus, Matti was even singing the wheels on the bus song!

And so we went back to the Spaghetti Space Chase and got Matti on the height measurement tool but sadly, his height was not yet eligible to ride. It was a sad day for him but it's okay, we decided to still go inside for my parents while Matti and James stay outside.

But lo and behold, there was a long line inside and it was super dark and my mother started to feel bad so we decided to just go back and go out! Okay, so we finally accepted that this was not for us! The rides all have long lines and so if you are interested in going to any Universal Studios, make sure to get yourself an express ticket instead!

Anyhow, we reached the end of the trail and so we decided to go back our route so we could explore the rest of the spots that we passed by before having lunch. Now, Matti was already awake and can already pose in the photos!

After a few walks, passing by Ancient Egypt, the Transformers, and the Dinosaurs, we reached Far Far Away again! This time, we appreciated the nice view of the place from its main entrance. Because I was busy checking out which place to dine in, I didn't notice that there was a Far Far Away sign on the castle's side.

We stayed here for a while and found the Fairy God Mother's Potion Factory and so we went inside where we found the Magic potion ride inside as well as souvenir items but what caught my attention was in fact Toothless' real-life figure! I called my parents and we took photos! Matti was amazed at this and he said it has wings! I guess I will need to get a hand of the Toothless movies so he would know him better!

As we were also standing at the Peasant and Serf entrance, we heard an alert sound, and Princess Fiona and Shrek went out of the door! I was stunned and went to where they were going! I was glad we were here at the right time for the meet and greet!

The staff then made a sign on where to start the line, everyone went and we were third in line. Shrek and Princess Fiona kept on waving here and there! I was really glad to meet them! I wished they had their little babies with them too!

As soon as we were done taking photos, we headed to the frog prince and looked for a shaded area to rest but we found some familiar faces. They were talking in Tagalog and found out they were local celebrities in the Philippines! I ran towards them and asked Maja Salvador if I can take a photo of her, and she agreed!

My mother was so happy too when we got to take a photo with her. She was wearing a mask and she was with two other celebrities, one of them was Maine Mendoza while the other one is a beauty queen.

My husband went to also stalk them, they were at the lake and their companions started taking photos of them. My husband also snapped some. I guess they were doing some Tiktok dance moves here and they were laughing really hard!

We were on our way out of Universal Studios. I actually didn't feel bad that we were not able to ride anything. In fact, I am glad we just spared ourselves from the long queue.

We reached this Hello Kitty store and this one looks really cute! I asked my husband to take a photo of me! I remember my sister-in-law who loves Hello Kitty so much she almost got her room filled with Hello Kitty stuff from the beddings to the wallpapers!

We could see the Universal Studios globe from where we were, but before we headed out, I decided to get a Minion popcorn container. This costs a lot, I believe it's almost PHP 2,000 but I guess it's our only souvenir from Universal Studios so it was a good idea plus, it has really good popcorn inside too which Matti and the parents love! We were not even able to finish it because there were too many inside!

But if you have a lot of money to spend, I highly recommend checking out the Universal Studios store too because they got a lot of the souvenir items available here!

I guess if we had the entire day, we could also see other shows like the live shows and parades but we have other things to do that evening and there was a scheduled company group photo at the globe and we were all asked to join so we decided to go out already.

Did a final look before heading out! Thank you Arcanys for this opportunity! I will never forget being able to visit this site and Singapore in general!

Visiting Universal Studios Singapore soon? Make sure to wear comfortable clothes! I would also recommend bringing extra shirts, caps, and towels, and plan out which ride you really want to try out so that you can go in line ahead before checking out the rest! If you come with a child, having a stroller would be very handy so when the baby gets tired walking and wants to sleep, you can just put him in the stroller and continue exploring the place!
