My favorite horses/ мої улюблені коні (UA/EN)

Hi friends.
I love horses very much. Now these beautiful animals are almost gone in private farms. If any owner-connoisseur keeps a grasshopper at home, it is a great rarity. When I was in the Netherlands, in addition to the architecture and beauty of the city, I couldn't help but admire the number of animals that seem to graze by themselves on the sides of the road. These are small private farms. Horses are highly valued and protected there. There was one young stallion living at the recreation center where I was. And although he was wayward and could bite, there was no stopping those who wanted to treat the grasshopper with an apple or a carrot.
Not far from my town is the Dibriv horse farm (Dibrivka village, Myrhorod district). Dmytro Romanov founded it in 1888, which was no coincidence, because the Muravyovs-Apostols and Kochubeis were engaged in breeding different breeds of horses in this village.
When entering the territory, everyone is greeted by a monument of a horse with a foal. You can order a tour here. The friendly employee talks very interestingly and lively about the company, the history of its establishment and location. There is a museum here with interesting exhibits. Visitors are offered to buy grain, which they allow to feed the animals in the stables. For a separate fee, you can ride a horse-drawn carriage. Visitors are offered a friendly, calm animal. By the way, the horse is quite tall, and in order to sit on its back, untrained riders need help.
Previously, horse races were always held on May 1 in the village of Dibrivka. People came from all over Ukraine to watch the spectacle. Unfortunately, I have never been to this world event. The last 10 years, apparently, do not hold races.The company is going through its worst times. But I hope that the plant will continue its activities. After all, in addition to the fact that this is almost the only place in the entire region where you can still see a live horse, this is also an enterprise with a deep history. Imagine if the plant survived 2 World Wars and continues to function during this one!
Also, everyone who wants to have a good rest, admire the horses and try themselves as a rider should visit the Dibriv stud farm.

При в’їзді на територію всіх зустрічає пам’ятник коню з лошатком. Тут можна замовити екскурсію. Доброзичлива працівниця дуже цікаво та жваво розповідає про підприємство, історію його заснування та локації. Тут є музей, де зібрані цікаві експонати. Відвідувачам пропонують купити зерно, яким дозволяють погодувати тварин у стайнях. За окрему плату можна покататися на коникові. Відвідувачам пропонують доброзичливу, спокійну тварину. До речі, кінь досить високий, а тому, щоб всістися на його спину не тренованим вершникам потрібна допомога.
Раніше на 1 травня в селі Дібрівка завжди проводили кінні перегони. Подивитися на видовище з’їжджалися з усієї України. Нажаль, я ніколи не була на цьому міроприємстві. Останні років 10, мабуть, не проводять перегони. Підприємство переживає свої не найкращі часи. Та сподіваюся, що все ж завод продовжить свою діяльність. Адже крім того, що тут чи не єдине місце в усій області, де ще можна побачити живого коня, це ще й підприємство з глибокою історією. Уявіть, завод пережив 2 Світові війни та продовжує функціонувати під час цієї!
То ж всім охочим гарно відпочити, помилуватися кіньми та спробувати себе у ролі вершника, варто відвідати Дібрівський кінний завод.
