Colors of embroidered spring/Барви вишитої весни (UA/EN)

Hi friends.
Last Thursday, we wrapped Ukraine in embroidery. Cities and villages were filled with riot of patterns and colors. Everywhere you looked, you could see sun-lit crosses and plains, from which the clothes of men and women, young men and women, children and the elderly were made into a fabulous decoration.
Now there is a whole arsenal of all kinds of models and forms of our traditional clothing. We are getting ready to put on embroidered clothes, flaunting them, trying to impress others with something unusual. My friend has a new embroidered blouse. Beautiful soft olive-colored canvas with white inserts, on which a densely embroidered ornament. This is the handiwork of our master seamstress, who arranged the fabric and pieces of the towel, which became the decoration of the outfit. By the way, she has a whole bunch of such works in her arsenal. Many of my friends and colleagues flaunt dresses, shirts, blouses and suits made from old things: grandmother's shirts, towels, even binoculars. When asked if it is a pity to sew an old thing, I am told that in this way they give it a new life, because everyone around admires the beauty of embroidery, and the work of native hands, which created a miracle on the canvas, is like a charm that warms the heart.
We have collected a small collection of such things so that people can see how a thing that has been lying in the closet for years can become a real decoration of the wardrobe. The lion's share of the collection is made by the craftswoman herself. One blouse is sewn from a linen curtain, on which there is an interesting net and white-on-white embroidery.
I have very creative colleagues. A bright lilac bicycle inspired them to make a small photo zone "Lilac Girls".Huge bunches of fragrant flowers, fabric decoration of baskets and containers with water - and unforgettable beauty is ready. How many people want to take a picture there! Everyone wants to be among bright colorful lilac flowers and try on a wreath.
Near towels with an embroidered carpet, there is also a queue of people willing to take a picture. Not only are the colors "eye-popping" (that's what my grandmother used to say), but also your own, familiar, so familiar appears in the photo...
A bright sunny spring day, decorated with flowers and an embroidered miracle, is a real, unforgettable, unique, exciting, beautiful Ukraine.

Минулого четверга ми Україну вбрали в вишиванку. Міста і села заполонило буйство узорів та кольорів. Куди б не впав погляд – навкруги осяяні сонцем хрестики та гладь, з яких казковою прикрасою складалося вбрання чоловіків та жінок, юнаків та дівчат, діток та людей похилого віку.

Це ручна робота нашої майстрині швеї, яка скомпонувала тканину та шматки рушника, що і стали прикрасою вбрання. До речі, в її арсеналі ціла купа таких робіт. Багато моїх знайомих та колег красуються в сукнях, сорочках, блузах та костюмах, які пошиті зі старовинних речей: бабусиних сорочок, рушників, навіть підзорників. На питання чи не шкода кроїти старовинну річ, мені відповідають, що таким чином дають їй нове життя, адже милуються красою вишивкою всі навколо, а робота рідних рук, що творили диво на полотні, наче оберіг гріє серце.
Ми зібрали невеличку колекцію з таких речей, щоб люди могли подивитися на те, як річ, що роками лежить в шафі, може стати справжньої окрасою гардероба. Левова частина колекції – це речі самої майстрині. Одна блуза пошита з полотняної штори, на якій цікава мережка та вишивка білим по білому.
В мене дуже креативні колеги. Яскраво-бузковий велосипед надихнув їх зробити невеличку фото-зону «Бузкові дівчата». Величезні кетяги духмяних квітів, тканинне декорування корзин та ємностей з водою – і незабутня краса готова. Скільки ж охочих там сфотографуватися! Всі бажають опинитися між яскравих барвистих квітів бузку та приміряти вінок.
Біля рушників з вишитим килимом теж черга з охочих зробити світлину. Мало того, що барви, «аж очі виїдають» (так любила говорити моя бабуся), так ще й своє, рідне, таке знайоме виходить на фото…
Яскравий сонячний день весни, прикрашений квітами та вишитим дивом, – це справжня, незабутня, унікальна, хвилююча, прекрасна Україна.
