Flying Champion: Fiery Skipper (Hylephila phyleus)

When it comes to flying speed, the Fiery Skipper or Hylephila phyleus butterfly is the champion. It took me quite a long time to take a picture of it when it was perched on the leaves of a bush.

This small butterfly is indeed very agile in weaving in the air, just like an airplane doing a flight demonstration. In fact, this type of butterfly flies the fastest compared to other types of butterflies. Luckily, the Fiery Skipper quickly landed on the bush so I managed to shoot it with my cellphone camera.

The yellow color with black spots on its wings with its legs standing firmly makes the Fiery Skipper butterfly look very dashing. The antennae on the head of this butterfly seem to be a signal to detect the conditions around it when flying. Here are some photos that I share about the Fiery Skipper butterfly or Hylephila phyleus.

Thank you to all my friends who have stopped by my post this time. Hopefully this post is useful and increases our knowledge about various butterfly species.
