Walk me me, some seaside fall photos

I have a load of photos from recent walks on my camera roll so this will be a mega post!

The other day we had to go to an appointment very early so we stopped at one of my favorite beach/provincial parks for a little rest just as the sun was comong up. The view here is always incredible.

Here's what it looks like during the day:

This is another beautiful ocean view that was caught in the evening. I made @vachemorte pull over so I could grab these beautiful colors:

I did a last round in my garden and picked the remaining tomatoes because we are startng to get small frosts, I found this cute little family of mushrooms:

This one was strange, I saw a butterfly land on the ground and just lay sideways, I took a few pics and it was moving it's wings a wee bit but I kind of thought it passed away before my eyes:

I turned on my video recorder and just as I clicked record it flew away, does anyone know what it was doing? I'm curious:

We had a pretty crazy storm last week with lots of rain and high winds, whenever this happens the beach gets changed a lot. One time the ocean brought up about 50 massive boulders into a pile splitting the beacvh in 2, then after about a year they had all gone again!

This time one entire half of the beach was covered in seaweed (all this is usually sand):

And the road next to the beach had sand all over it, I'm not sure if it was the wind or if the waves were coming up over the road which is known to happen.

Had a nice little walk around this park enjoying the fall colors and sat under this tree for a bit:

This time of year is getting chilly so we are having fires in the wood stove. One of the annoying things is that we sometimes bring in bugs that are hanging around in the wood. I was sitting on my couch and saw a small movement out of the corner of my eye and this guy was chilling on the couch next to me. I did a reverse image search and it's a western conifer seed bug. Thankfully he was pretty chill and let me deposit him outside without any fuss

I love the little rune markings on his wings:

What a beautiful walk! I love nature! As for the butterfly, many butterflies drink the liquid that collects between rocks, so it may have been doing that! The runic markings are wonderful!🤗
