Seaside cemetery nature photos / warning dead animal inside

We took a little walk along the coast yesterday, it was a bit of a gloomy damp day but the rain mostly held off while we walked.

The tide was out so we were able to investigate all the little snails, barnacles and seaweed left behind.

I love all the little textures that can be found by zooming in.

This cabin is so cute, I do not know of it is abandoned or not.

Some more interesting seaweed...

There's a very old cemetery that looks out over the sea. Some of the Graves go back to the 1800s and could use a little TLC.

Some have even been replaced by rocks.

We were walking near the edge of a dirt road and something caught my eye. At first I thought it was a branch that looked a bit strange, like a paw.

I went closer to check it out and it was indeed a paw...

Turned out it was a pretty freshly dead raccoon 💀

The Atlantic coast scenery is a bit different than Pacific coast scenery 😐

Those bodies have to go somewhere 🤣 I personally would be happy to be dumped straight into the ocean when I go

Good point. 😄 It looks like a beautiful place to rest in or out of the sea :)

Well... the dead animal is part of nature... it happens all the time. The first pictures fascinated me!

Sounds promising! 😋 I am always up for visuals from the seaside walks, especially I enjoy to see the photos of various finds - what the sea brings out to the beach sand. 'Light things always to come first' (c)

That 2nd photo is amazing. I live far away from a sea, so I only go there once a year (at its best) and I have never seen those tiny thingies. You are right, there is so much details when you zoom in.

Poor little racoon!

I love acorn barnacles a lot too. Always touchy to find them on various surfaces around the sea.
