Playing Around with Snapseed | 2023

During my morning walks I encounter interesting and colorful subjects that I usually shoot with what I always have with me - my mobile phone. For this series, I chose a few photos that I already have, which I snapped just around the house.
The leaves were an interesting subject because I was looking at it in real life versus the one I captured on my mobile. The tone and mood was very distinct for the actual subject because it was indoors and the light from the window was not directly shining on the leaves. I thought about doing a few adjustments using Snapseed, which I recently rediscovered, and see how it goes. The tone was a bit darker for the adjustments I made and it also affected the mood of the photo. What feelings does it convey? Do you feel happy or sad when you look at it? Or does it seem like an ordinary photo that you just took randomly with your phone?
The second one is a rose that was already starting to look less bright and it fell from the vase so I picked it up and put it on the table. I snapped a few shots to see how it looks and I really loved that combination on red and green stems versus the light color of the table. I did a few more adjustments that resulted in this. The red popped out and the green was a little blurred, which is nice to look at, at least for me. I'm still learning how to improve my editing skills in Snapseed so please go easy on me.
The third one was taken outside, in our backyard. I really loved the bright yellow and red. The sun was bright, which helped me get this photo, so shoutout to the sun. haha. I did a few adjustments to make the flower the star of the show and this is what I ended up with.
I'm beginning a walking routine a few times a week and this seems like an added bonus for the times that I do get to go out. Looking out for subjects to take photos of makes me more aware of my surroundings. Instead of just focusing on walking, I get to look at, and enjoy the beauty of nature, the sky, people, and places that I visit and explore.
That's it for now. Thanks for dropping by. Wishing you all a happy and productive day ahead!
Love and peace!

Salamat. True, nakaka-improve talaga ng mood ang mga halaman at flowers sa paligid. Walking is nice: exercise na, mood booster pa. 🙂 !PIZZA

I haven't tried snapseed but it's on my list. I tend to lean on the darker tone 😅 nice shots and edits, @juanvegetarian!
