🌲 Un paseo por el bosque “El Olivar”/ 🌲 A walk through the forest "El Olivar" [ESP/ENG]

Hace unos días tuve una jornada fotográfica en el distrito de San Isidro (Lima, Perú) y, como llegué bastante temprano al lugar, me puse a buscar un parque donde poder esperar de lo más tranquilo. Fue entonces que encontré en Google Maps uno bastante grande y bien cuidado llamado “El Olivar”.

Lo que más me sorprendió fue que no es un parque, sino que tiene la denominación de “bosque” (no sé la razón exactamente), quizás por la amplitud de su territorio, por la presencia de varias especies de animales en el ecosistema u otras condiciones. Pero no tuve la oportunidad de recórrelo muy a fondo, solo permanecí sentado un buen rato respirando aire puro y viendo a la gente pasar.

Seguramente en un futuro próximo volveré para recorrer por completo dicho bosque junto a mi familia o amigos, pues verdaderamente me impresionó lo bien cuidado que se encuentra.

A few days ago I had a photographic day in the district of San Isidro (Lima, Peru) and, as I arrived quite early to the place, I started looking for a park where I could wait in peace. It was then that I found on Google Maps a fairly large and well-kept park called "El Olivar".

What surprised me the most was that it is not a park, but has the denomination of "forest" (I do not know the reason exactly), perhaps because of the size of its territory, the presence of several species of animals in the ecosystem or other conditions. But I did not have the opportunity to explore it very thoroughly, I just sat there for a while breathing fresh air and watching the people passing by.

Surely in the near future I will come back to walk through the forest with my family or friends, because I was really impressed by how well kept it is.
