[ENG-SPN] With Llanes everything… / Con Llanes todo…

A popular song, which is usually sung when, once poured, the cider bottles are emptied, they tend to become the claws of a beast that hurt the most sensitive fiber of the melancholic soul of the Asturians, says that 'with Llanes, everything and without Llanes, nothing, because outside of Llanes, life ends'.

And it may be that, deep down, they are quite right, because Llanes, like many other ancestral towns anchored on the edge of those formidable cliffs where the wild waters of the Cantabrian Sea go to die, is another seductive siren, whose charm never leaves Ulysses indifferent, who, without a doubt, we all carry in our hearts.

But Llanes is also one of the most important ports on this wonderful and supernatural coast and beyond these breakwaters, whose shape resembles a horseshoe, its monumental beaches, like that of Toró, are also an invitation to rest and adventure and a first-class destination.

Dice una canción popular, que, generalmente se suele cantar cuando, una vez escanciadas, las botellas de sidra al vaciarse suelen convertirse en zarpazos de fiera que hieren la fibra más sensible del alma melancólica de los asturianos, que ‘con Llanes, todo y sin Llanes, nada, porque fuera de Llanes, la vida se acaba’.

Y puede, que, en el fondo, tengan mucha razón, porque Llanes, como muchas otras villas ancestrales ancladas a la vera de esos formidables acantilados a donde van a morir las bravas aguas del Cantábrico, es otra seductora sirena, cuyo encanto no deja nunca indiferente al Ulises, que, sin duda alguna, todos llevamos en el corazón.

Pero Llanes es, además, uno de los puertos más importantes de esta maravillosa y sobrenatural costa y más allá de esas escolleras, cuya forma recuerda una herradura, sus playas, monumentales, como la de Toró, son también una invitación al descanso y a la aventura y un destino de primera magnitud.
