Under the patronage of a saint who is ready to fight against the subversive power of those allies of the shadows and base instincts, who are the demons and whose name is Cyprian, whose famous grimoire has come down to us today with its original load of spells and medieval exorcisms, this solitary group of sacred architecture still continues to baptize new generations of neighbors, who, as often happens in current times, desperately flee the countryside and its work to try to integrate into the mirage of a supposed better life, which the big cities always claim for themselves.

Situada a la vera de esa arteria vital que conecta Burgos y más adelante con la inconmensurable belleza de los puertos del Cantábrico, una solitaria ermita románica, levantada en ese siglo XII que asistió al auge de la poesía trovadoresca y donde las cofradías itinerantes de albañiles iban dejando a su paso metafóricos poemas labrados en la piedra, continúa viendo la vida pasar, con esa enfermiza neutralidad que conlleva siempre la acidia de los tiempos.

Bajo la advocación de un santo de armas tomar contra el poder subversivo de esos aliados de la sombra y de los bajos instintos, que son los demonios y de nombre Cipriano, cuyo famoso grimorio ha llegado a nuestros días con su primigenia carga de hechizos y de exorcismos medievales, este solitario conjunto de arquitectura sacra todavía continúa bautizando a unas nuevas generaciones de vecinos, que, como ocurre con frecuencia en los tiempos actuales, huyen desesperadamente del campo y sus labores para intentar integrarse en el espejismo de una supuesta vida mejor, que reclaman siempre para sí las grandes ciudades.
