[ENG-SPN] The Secret Heart of Magical Spain / El corazón secreto de la España Mágica
It's difficult to resist its magnetic charm. Nature, history, art, and mystery, among other defining factors, could be considered a well-defined set of arguments that make this place, located in the heart of Soria and roughly in the center of Spain, a metaphorical fantasy thriller, where reality may always surpass fiction.
Megalithic footprints are attributed to the hooves of the legendary Apostle James. Imposing caves that were sanctuaries and witnesses to humanity's earliest spiritual yearnings. Chilling legends of poisoned and cursed villages. Enigmatic lights that revolve around a mysterious hermitage, that of San Bartolomé, hidden among crags whose erosion has sculpted mysterious shapes, sometimes reminiscent of the wounded Titans of ancient mythologies.
But perhaps the most surprising thing, after all, is the presence in these secluded spots of what many years ago intrepid researchers defined as a nerve center of magical Spain: military orders, such as the Order of Roncesvalles and the Knights Templar, whose exchanges and activities constitute one of the most intense mysteries—a detail that, obviously, has sparked the most intense and passionate debates: the Río Lobos Canyon and its unique mysteries.
Resulta difícil resistirse a su magnético encanto. Naturaleza, Historia, Arte y Misterio, entre otros determinantes factores, podrían considerarse como un conjunto de argumentos bien definidos para hacer de este lugar, situado en la Soria profunda y aproximadamente, en el centro de España, un metafórico thriller fantástico, donde posiblemente la realidad supere siempre a la ficción.
Huellas megalíticas atribuidas a los cascos del legendario Apóstol Santiago. Cuevas imponentes que fueron santuarios y a la vez testigos de las primeras inquietudes espirituales de la humanidad. Espeluznantes leyendas de pueblos envenenados y malditos. Luces enigmáticas que giran alrededor de una misteriosa ermita, la de San Bartolomé, oculta entre riscos a los que la erosión ha ido dotando de formas misteriosas, que, en algunas ocasiones, recuerdan a esos Titanes malheridos de los que hablan las antiguas Mitologías.
Pero, quizás, lo más sorprendente, después de todo, sea la presencia en estos solitarios apartados de lo que hace muchos años intrépidos investigadores definieron como un punto neurálgico de la España Mágica, de órdenes militares, como la Orden de Roncesvalles y la Orden del Temple, cuyas permutas y cuyas actividades, constituyen uno de los más intensos misterios, detalle, que, obviamente, ha sido el detonante de los más intensos y apasionados debates: el Cañón del Río Lobos y sus singulares misterios.
