[ENG-SPN] The legend of the Walker / La leyenda del Caminante
Maybe my particular Odyssey, that heroic need to take to the roads with the imperative need to one day reach that metaphor of the Labyrinth, which, at its core, is Ithaca, really began here, on the outskirts of a peaceful town in Segovia, located on the other side of an imposing natural border with Madrid, which, known in the Middle Ages, with the symbolic name of the Mountain Range of the Dragon - dragons, among other singularities, were associated with the custody of treasures, as he well knew. When Tolkien created his unique Smaug, it has become the idyllic Mountain Range of the Guadarrama Natural Park. I suppose, in addition, that it was an ordinary day, very similar, by comparison, to that other on which Paul of Tarsus himself, a sinister mastiff in the service of the Sanhedrin, saw the Light, on the way to Damascus, searching, with noble intentions, to that beautiful Utopia, which, after the centuries, continues to be the Rabbi of Galilee.
In this remote place, where once there was one of the largest Visigoth cemeteries in Spain - a reminder that everything, even the great empires, sooner or later returns to the dust from which it came - the dawn surprised me, illuminating, with the first rays of the sun, a fascinating universe, which, recorded with masterful ease by anonymous predecessors, was a cultural legacy, whose discovery, throughout a Spain of surprising contrasts, was well worth discovering. That day and in this place, with the icy presence of frost, the legend of the Walker was born.

That's some nice piece of architecture. Though it looks ancient, being from the middle ages, it's beauty is still intact. I assume there's a whole lot of interesting history around this structure.
Thanks for sharing and have a great day.
Although it has not been freed from the effects of time and, above all, from the bestiality of men, it still retains a good part of its original grandeur, which is already worthy of admiration.
Damn!!!
That’s last picture is so lovely. The sculpture is really amazing
I love it!
It is one of the most beautiful and harmonious Romanesque temples in Spain.
