[ENG-SPN] Speculative Gothic art / Arte Gótico especulativo

Gothic art gave its last strands, when, after the taking of Granada, which ended those centuries of Muslim domain that meant the fall of the Visigothic empire in the seventh century and the first transoceanic trips of Christopher Columbus, the Catholic Monarchs, Isabel de Castilla and Fernando de Aragón, financed the construction of one of the most extraordinary places of that capital of forgotten empires, which, according to German poet and writer, Erich María Remarque, is, ultimately, a city like Toledo: the monastery of Saint John of the Kings.

Its cloister, endowed with two unique plants, is a poem of plastic and symbolism, whose sculpture, far from constituting an open metaphorical book, as in the Romanesque style, induces to look for answers in a geometric logic, fueled of suggestive iterations, whose elastic plasticity, hints fantastic frames, whose metaphorical singularity, opens windows to those other worlds, which, according to some theorists of surrealism, are also in it.

I b think this is the second time you’d be talking about Gothic art
I think I will learn more about it
Thanks for sharing
In fact, I often talk frequently about the things that I am passionate about, and within Art and Architecture, about very specific styles, such as the Romanesque and the Gothic, taking advantage of the great wealth of both that still, despite the great losses , has my country.
Wow this is a beauty to behold. The structure is really amazing
Gothic is an Art where beauty and mystery are assured, to the point that it is difficult not to surrender to its spell.
This building is so beautiful. It has nice exterior.
It is one of the most notable and relevant buildings of that impressive historical, artistic and cultural complex that makes a city like Toledo one of the most visited in my country.
These are really beautiful pictures and views to admire of
Thank-you
