[ENG-SPN] Melque: architecture of mystery / Melque: arquitectura del misterio
I realize that Cervantes does not mention it, but if we imagine, it is very possible that the most sagacious of our knights-errant, the passionate hidalgo Don Alonso Quijano, converted, by the work and grace of the Muse, into the intrepid champion of that limbo of the lost, where, according to the poet Villon, the snows of yesteryear always end up, one day he exchanged his wanderings across the plains of La Mancha and, disarmed and defeated, he let himself fall, meditative, into this dark corner of the Montes de Toledo, where a badly wounded set of artisanal sacred architecture, sighs, like desperate Dulcinea, for everything that one day the wind took away.
Saint Mary of Melque, once a mirror of the golden crowns of the Visigoth kings, whose brilliance was reflected in the superimposed arches of its basilica design, is now a lost algorithm, which, however, interacting from the silence provided by the centuries, challenges the imagination with the inclusion of an equation of multiple possibilities, whose random unknown, carries implicitly, like a watermark, the property right of a creative genius, whose name is, furthermore, inseparable from life itself: its mystery.

Even though the building looks ancient but it is still with so much beauty to admire about
Like many others of his style, it was plundered and the greatness it had is barely appreciated, although it still preserves enough to let the imagination fly.
I always wonder the kind of people who usually build this kind of place
Just look at how fantastic the building is
Looks very creative
Nice one!
In reality, we are talking about wise people, because, despite their apparent crudeness, their architects knew the secrets of sacred architecture, which, of course, is no small thing.
Saint Mary of Melque is indeed a brilliance piece of architecture even though it has fallen into disrepair and looks old and deserted. I believe it can stilled be restored and used. Thanks for sharing.
Unlike many other temples of its style or similar styles, here they only proceeded to consolidate the ruins and prevent people from continuing to plunder them. It is no longer active as a temple, but as an interpretation center, so that, even in this sense, it continues to carry out meritorious cultural work.

There is a way of taking photographs which you have to take very carefully.
I suppose that each person tries to reflect in their photographs everything that catches their attention or seems relevant. Thank you for your comment and greetings.
