My signature bread sausage rolls // Creative Sunday
Hello Friends,
It is another #creativesunday. I am going to share one simple breakfast idea recipe. It is called bread Sausage roll or Sausage Bread roll. This is very easy to prepare and yummy too.
The first time I tried it, I ate all in the kitchen. It was so nice and very crunchy that I forgot my Husband was waiting for his own share of breakfast.
The funny thing about this meal is that when my friend first told me about it, I rolled my eyes. I mean if you want to eat sausage roll, you should do that. Which one is bread sausage roll again?. But when I ate it the day she made it, my whole life changed breakfastically(whatever that word means, it don't know*).
Well, let's get started and please don't be like me when you eventually try this out. Don't finish it alone. Give to your family members and neighbors.
You will need the following:
- Bread
- Sausages
- flour paste ( water mixed with flour)
- Groundnut oil
Preparation
- Cut the edges of the sliced bread.
If you are not using sliced bread, you can slice but make it as thin as possible.
- Roll out the bread to achieve a very flat shape and set aside
- Heat your sausage for 1 minute with little groundnut oil.
- place your sausage on the bread and roll to cover the sausage. If you have cheese, you can place on top before you add the sausage. If not please skip like me.
- Rub the flour paste on the edges of the bread that you have rolled. This is so that the bread can lap.
-Fry.
Please fry on a low heat so that it doesn't burn. And fry with little groundnut oil too.
- Food is ready
There you have it. Your sausage bread roll is ready for consumption. However, for some people that do not like groundnut oil, if you have toaster, you can toast the bread. I haven't done that before but I hear you can.
Please use very little groundnut oil to fry because the bread will soak into the oil. Except you like it that way then you can fry with that kind of amount of oil. Otherwise, please just spray a little amount of groundnut oil on your frying pan before you fry.
Alternatively, you can use butter to fry. The taste is heavenly too.
Are you going to try this? When you do, don't forget to tag me.
See you next week Sunday for another easy recipe.
