Pretty Orchids needed Rescuing

The flowers may look so pretty it earlier today, it yelled for help for me so I rescued it.

The day started so busy as I helped my kids prepare for school. We left home at 7 in the morning and found the orchid fell down. As we passed by on my mother's front lawn. It grew so tall and three of the branches that carried the blooms broke.

I passed by and got my kids to school and when I returned, that's where my rescue started.

The snake plant next to the orchid kindly caught the plant making it's flowers secure from the fall and damage. After evaluation, I decide to but the branch that broke and my mother who got curious on why I needed knife in her garden assisted me in doing so.

Se decided I plant the branches again and we planted them near the moringa tree.

A few years ago, way back in the pandemic, my mother and sister collected plants and panted them in the garden. Due to the busyness of life, my sister were not able to attend to them and most of her plants died. The orchid is one of the survivors since it doesn't need much attention and water though today, it really needs water. It had not rained in our place for weeks.

I am so happy we were able to resue the plant. It turns out that the tree it had been holding had rot and some of its branches attached its roots to the moringa tree and the rotten tree literally hangs because of the plant.

Upon closer look, I found out that it was just only a single plant and grew many branches as it grew tall and bloomed

I've never been closer to it until today and I am very happy that my mother gave me the branch that broke at the back. I cut them to several pieces and planted in a broken refregerator cabinet. I was hoping to see it grow soon.

Looking back, when I had a dentist appointment last year, I saw a balcony full of different kind of orchid flowers and I envied the owner for it. Just kidding but it really inspired me to do so today. Orchids are lovely flowers that could last for week and they are so lovely to see plus tbey only ned a little space and grow without soil.

The branches It took were the beginning of my dream garden and I am hoping the plants would go with my plans..

Do you share the same adorement with orchids too?
