MY BEST WEEKEND OF 2023
Hello HIVE friends, do you know the State of Espírito Santo in Brazil? I didn't know it and I was amazed by the local beauty. The state is small, you can visit several places in a short time. The regions are beautiful and there are places that make you imagine other countries.
MY TRIP
I can say that my trip was totally unexpected, I was at work and a travel agent arrived offering tour packages to different places in Brazil. Several co-workers decided to travel and, influenced by others, I ended up buying a package to the city of Espírito Santo. You know that trip that you buy thinking it's going to be horrible and it ends up being one of the best trips of your life, well, that was the case.
A PROBLEM: I'm afraid of traveling by plane, it was difficult to get used to the idea, anyway, I gathered courage and moved on, the arrival in the state capital (Vitória) was impressive, the aerial view left me impressed.
PLACES VISITED
CAPIXABA MOUNTAIN AND BLUE STONE
The state is famous for its mountains, clean air and for having a cold and pleasant climate. Something that stands out in the Espírito Santo mountains is the famous blue stone, its postcard, also known as the lizard stone, which has a blue and greenish color, a color that changes during the day according to the incidence of sunlight. This monumental rock is 1,822m high. "I was impressed, it's a shame there's no climbing on the tour"
ACCESS TO BLUE STONE
We headed from Vitória along a highway and traveled about 95km to reach the location. On the way, we passed through a wonderful landscape and arrived at a stretch called Rota do Lagarto. “The place is literally beautiful, the road is full of flowers”
GIANT BUDDHA
This gigantic statue stands at the entrance of the Zen Monastery, is 35 meters high and is located next to BR-101. The place is not open every day and you pay a small fee to have access. The surrounding mountains and mountains make the place a panoramic point for recording images of the region.
MONUMENT IN HONOR OF HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS WHO LOST THEIR LIVES TO COVID-19
The word gratitude is written on the monument. A small tribute to the professionals who dedicated themselves in these dark times. Personally, I was moved when I contemplated it, I had unexpected family losses due to this damn virus. When I see monuments or works like that, I end up associating them with what happened in the past.
THE BEACHES
One thing I like to enjoy are the beaches, the region is full of beaches, but unfortunately I was only able to visit Camburi beach, as I had to follow the itinerary for the visit. I finished the tour and was left wanting more. "The locals are welcoming, you are happy to visit."
NEGATIVE POINT
The negative point of my trip was the lack of time to visit the other places. I only spent 2 days in this beautiful state.
