Preludio de ventanas y puertas | Prelude to windows and doors

Las ventanas y puertas tradicionales son un motivo recurrente en mis fotos de aficionado. En diferentes momentos he publicado en esta plataforma, y en la anterior, algunos de mis modestos ejercicios fotográficos. Hoy vuelvo con una pequeña muestra, que es un preámbulo de una serie que difundiré en los próximos días.

Todas estas fotos fueron tomadas en la calle Sucre, de Cumaná (Estado Sucre, Venezuela), perteneciente al llamado "casco histórico" de la ciudad, y quieren presentar parte de lo que va quedando de esa arquitectura y estilo que predominó desde finales del siglo XIX e inicios del XX, con materiales muy nobles, imitaciones de ornamentos y molduras, colores y otros aspectos de interés cultural.

Traditional windows and doors are a recurring motif in my amateur photos. At different times I have published on this platform, and on the previous one, some of my modest photographic exercises. Today I return with a small sample, which is a preamble to a series that I will disseminate in the coming days.

All these photos were taken in Sucre Street, in Cumaná (Sucre State, Venezuela), belonging to the so-called "historic center" of the city, and want to present part of what remains of that architecture and style that prevailed from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, with very noble materials, imitations of ornaments and moldings, colors and other aspects of cultural interest.
