These aren't exactly stunning photos, nor are they of extraordinary places. They're photos I took of the state of the river that runs through my city: the Manzanares River in Cumaná (Sucre, Venezuela). Thanks to the rains, it has risen, revitalizing itself somewhat and regaining some of its flow.

The photos were taken with my cell phone in recent days, when the river even overflowed its banks.
