As the poet Rubén Darío said: “The sea, like a vast silvered crystal, reflects the sheet of a zinc sky.” Thus, in our vision and experience of the sea, as it is on the beaches of the Araya Peninsula (Sucre State, Venezuela), these beautiful metaphors come true. My photos, taken on one of those beaches and on the way to them, are intended to be a visual record of that wonder.
