If someday I leave my country of origin and go to live in another distant place, one of the things I will miss the most is the color of the sky.

The blue of the sky of Cuba, for me, is one of the most beautiful wonders that this tropical climate has. It is a gift of nature that I never get tired of looking at. Most of the time it shows itself in a clear, clean, unique blue, that when it mixes with the white of the clouds it seems even more astonishing.

The sky does not always keep the same tone, of course. Sometimes it is colored with more intense shades, other times it turns gray and melancholic, but those changes are part of its charm, and of the hidden language of nature in a canvas that never repeats itself.

I always look to take photos where the blue of the sky contrasts with the surroundings: with the green of the trees and the palms, with the clouds that seem to play at changing shape, or with the tallest constructions that rise as if they wanted to touch it. The sky is not only a background but a silent protagonist that gives life to everything we see. The advantage of living here is that every day I can look up and find a different spectacle.

The sky of Cuba is more than a landscape, it is a constant inspiration and one more reason to value the simple beauty that surrounds us.

Si algún día dejo mi país de origen y voy a vivir en otro lugar distante, una de las cosas que más voy a extrañar es el color del cielo.

El azul del cielo de Cuba para mí, es una de las maravillas más hermosas que tiene este clima tropical. Es un regalo de la naturaleza que nunca me canso de mirar. La mayoría de las veces se muestra en un azul claro, limpio, único, que cuando se mezcla con el blanco de las nubes parece aún más asombroso.

No siempre el cielo mantiene el mismo tono, por supuesto. A veces se colorea de matices más intensos, otras se torna gris y melancólico, pero esos cambios son parte de su encanto, y del lenguaje oculto de la naturaleza en un lienzo que nunca se repite.

Siempre busco tomar fotos donde el azul del cielo contraste con el entorno: con el verde de los árboles y las palmas, con las nubes que parecen jugar a cambiar de forma, o con las construcciones más altas que se levantan como si quisieran tocarlo. El cielo no solo es un fondo sino un protagonista silencioso que da vida a todo lo que vemos. La ventaja de vivir aquí es que cada día puedo mirar hacia arriba y encontrar un espectáculo distinto.

El cielo de Cuba es más que un paisaje, es una inspiración constante y una razón más para valorar la belleza sencilla que nos rodea.
