The Beaver in a hollow sculpture

Hello and good morning all,
Today I'd like to share my most recent piece and the first beaver in a hollow I have ever carved.

Here he is in the raw and all chainsaw...

Detailed his focal points with the dremel and chisels, getting ready for the torch.

Some burning to soften him up...

After scraping the char, I added some shadowing with the airbrush but left him brown from the burn as it matches the beaver color best vs painting.

Right now I'm awaiting word back from my customer for approval. If they don't follow through I have another customer interested.
