Walking through the center of Havana

The center of my city is a place to walk, its pedestrian streets and large shaded portals invite you to visiting from one side to the other. That area has a lot of life, although it has the potential to be bigger. There is a need for more commercial establishments and for the large department stores to be rehabilitated.
Several hotels are being built in the area, all from old constructions. The streets and buildings need to be fixed up so that tourism can really enjoy the area. The cultural life in the area should be greater, artists and musicians are more than enough in this country to fill several theaters. Galeano Street can become a cultural corridor if buildings that today are in very bad condition are rescued. Despite the problems, downtown Havana is a place that invites you to walk.

El centro de mi ciudad es un lugar para caminar, sus calles peatonales y los grandes portales con sombra te invitan a recorrerlo de un lado a otro. Ese lugar tiene mucha vida, aunque tiene el potencial de ser mayor. Harían falta más comercios y que se terminen de rehabilitar las grandes tiendas por departamentos.
En esa zona se están construyendo varios hoteles, todos a partir de viejas edificaciones. Es necesario que se arreglen sus calles y edificios para que el turismo disfrute realmente de ese lugar. La vida cultural debe ser mayor, artistas y músicos sobran en este país para llenar varios teatros. La calle Galeano puede convertirse en un corredor cultural si se rescatan edificaciones que hoy están en muy mal estado. A pesar de los problemas, el centro de la Habana es un lugar que te invita a caminar.
