I want to share with you these photos taken from the window of the bus while touring the area of El Vedado, in Havana. This neighborhood, with its wide avenues and green areas, is a testimony of its history and its people. The trees, tall and leafy, offered shade to passersby, and the façades of the neoclassical buildings told stories of decades past.

On every corner, the faces of Havana residents reflected the diversity and vitality of this city. From my seat, I captured
snapshots of this visual chronicle, a piece of Havana's essence.
