Wednesday Walk at Tinapa Resort,

Happy Wednesday walk to my friends in this amazing community. Today, I decided to take a day off from work to relieve myself of all the stress at workplace.

One way to truly relief myself was to take a walk round one of the well-known resorts in the city of Calabar, Cross River State of Nigeria. This place is called "Tinapa"; interestingly, this place happens to be more popular than the city itself. Tinapa is seen to be a tourist attraction center situated in the Efik tribe of Nigeria.

It is seen to be one of the cleanest and most visited places in Nigeria. Why? This is because most of the colonial masters from Britain happened to reside here; so it gave rise to tourists to visit where they stayed and the events that happened in the various places.

Aside from the sight seeing of the colonial masters et al, the place is a serene environment for relaxation and comfort. At the resort, there's a map showing the location of Africa's premier business resort and what each building represents. This means that the place is known to be a business and recreational resort.

Going further, I saw a train that was formerly active in the 90's which conveyed people from the one state to another through its railway line.

Despite how old the place is, one thing I give credit to is its maintenance and ability to regulate the tourists who go in and out of the place.

During my stroll, I noticed that the parking space is large enough to accommodate lots of cars and other vehicles. Talking about the infrastructures here, they are top-notch. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go round the whole area because of its landmass, but I definitely had a nice time enjoying the serene environment.
