Stunted but Not Defeated! What I Learned from This Season’s Rice Struggle 💪

I have had my own share of challenges in my rice fields this year; it hasn't been an easy year at all, facing so many challenges that were trying to take my harvest away from me, even at this stage.

I had challenges ranging from the poor level of rainfall this year to the issue of weeds that were gradually taking over the whole farm and now I have the height of the rice to worry about.

And the major cause of stunted growth in rice is mostly a result of the initial problems that were not addressed on time growing into a torn in my flesh now.

Growth is a process that is not constant in most living things, especially growth in terms of height. We all reach a point when it becomes very difficult, or even impossible, to add any height because our bones have reached their maximum.

Similar things exist with rice plants, whether it's one for three months or more. If it doesn't get what it needs to grow beyond a certain growth period, it will remain stunted and begin to produce at that form, which is not good at all.

Weeds also contribute to this a lot, that's why it is crucial to weed early and allow the rice to have the field to itself.

I have a few weeks to correct this stunted growth before the rice starts producing, and the best idea right now is to add a measured quantity of fertilizer to the rice, which will boost its growth.

I have had my share of challenges so far, but I am not ready to give up on this farm yet.

What do you think is the best way forward, looking at what's on the ground right now?

Thanks a lot for stopping by 🙌
