My Guinea Corn is Heading Out 🌾: A Promising Sign of a Good Harvest Ahead 🌟

You're almost there. The words are going through my mind right now. The fact that my guinea corn is already heading out is a sign that harvest is around the corner, and more hands will be needed soon enough to handle the work that is on the way.

This post is not about writing poetry, but rather serves as a warning about things that can still go wrong at this point if the right things are not in place.

  • The harvest is almost ready, but right now I don't really have the laborers for it yet. Once the money to pay laborers is available, then that aspect is fixed.
  • The other thing pests; these can be so handful at this point, and failure to deal with them will mean I'm practically going to lose what I have labored so much for.

The main pest to be concerned about is birds since they can easily fly their way to the top of the guinea corn, which is where the head is. Rodents need the heads of the guinea corn to come down so they can access it, which is mostly common with certain varieties of guinea corn.

Right now 😁 I have a lot to contend with before I can eventually enjoy the fulfilment of the guinea corn I have cultivated this year, but before then 😊 let's keep the Work going.

Thanks for stopping by πŸ™Œ πŸ™Œ
