Tuawera Cave Rock, Christchurch
Sunday 19th was a beautiful day to be out and we made the most of it.
It was lovely to see people out to enjoy the day, kids riding on their bicycles, running around the beach with parents or guardians at consistent watch over them.
Tuawera Cave Rock is a beauty at first sight, you could go in and come out at the other end. I chose to walk through the cave before climbing the rock, both activities offered different lovely experiences.
There is a little house on the rock that is dedicated to the memory of Joseph Day.
As written on the wall of the house, he was a pilot whose impact on Sumner is still remembered to date.
It is amazing to be under a rock, even a dog was part of the fun, you might miss the dog in the cave if you don't look at the details in the photos.
I will be back on Tuawera Cave Rock on another beautiful day.
We owe it to ourselves to make Hive great
