Trucks of Quartz Mural | CCC'S Street Art Contest #194

I spotted the Trucks of Quartz Mural the moment I pulled into Broadway, Reefton.

Being aware of the police station, which is about 100m from the mural, I pulled over onto the opposite side of the road and got off the vehicle to get photos of the mural with keen interest.

I was so focused on the mural that I didn't realize the mural was right next to Dawson's Hotel, where I was booked to spend the night.

I like this mural because it explains what it means to the community and the concept behind it.

The credit of this mural goes to Davison and Fifield. That was an incredible collaboration from both of them.

This is my entry for this week's CCC's Street Art Contest #194

The mural is located on 70A Broadway, Reefton.

If participating in the contest interests you, make sure to read the rules and join in on the fun.

Interesting piece of history placed into street art for all to enjoy, learn how the region grew into what it is today. Backbone of many towns were history fades over time.

It is quite an interesting mural with history that I find educative in a simple way. I really like it.

Much history no longer respected and held for next generation to learn, sad but true if it was colonial it doesn't count! !LOLZ
