So full of joy for becoming a father
There was something about yesterday's rainbow 🌈 that got me thinking there must be something special to it.
The thought came to my mind because I did a lot of short distance travels around Christchurch yesterday attending to sites.
And the rainbow just keeps appearing, as seen in the pictures from three different locations.
It will fade away and appear, the last one being the drive home, so I had to pull off and take photos. Still, I felt it was a special kind of rainbow, showing off all day.
I'd like to think the beautiful, special rainbow was a sign to me that my daughter was being born in Africa, Nigeria 🇳🇬.
I woke up this morning in New Zealand 🇳🇿 to messages from family about the birth of my daughter.
Filled with joy and emotions, my morning was not the same. I was just too happy to focus at work as my colleagues congratulated me.
I named her Morenike before she was born, meaning I have found someone to care for.
The distance between us is tough as my little darling was born yesterday, but with time, we shall be together, and I am going to be loving every piece of her.
This is where I give a special thank to God and to the mother who has endured the discomfort through the pregnancy stages.
